The daily Morning Courier is free and will stay free. Membership is the optional way of supporting it, and in return you get every tool and game we make for members — one price, the whole household covered.

Ready the moment you join
Daily Brain Training
Six quick games — speed, memory, attention and name recall — a fresh workout every morning, with streaks and personal bests.
Family Tree Builder
Build your family tree one person at a time, keep the stories and photos that go with them, print it for the wall. Private to your family.
Holiday Phrasebook
Enough Italian, French, Spanish, Japanese or Indonesian for your trip: ten minutes a day until you fly, clear audio on every phrase, a pocket card to print.
Four murder mysteries
Print-and-play cases for the kitchen table — question the suspects, weigh the clues, name your killer. Solo or with the grandchildren.
Your birthday shoutout
Tell us your day once and every year Morning Courier wishes you a happy birthday in your edition — first name and suburb only, never your age.
How access works
No passwords, no apps to install. You pay with a card, we email you your members' key, you click it and you're in — on the phone, the iPad or the computer. Share the same link with the person you live with; one membership covers your household.
One plan. Everything in it.

Why I'm asking
Morning Courier is written by me, every day, with no media group behind it and no investors. The morning email is free and that isn't changing. But readers ask for more than an email can carry, so instead of charging for each new thing, membership is one price for all of it — everything we've made for members, everything that comes next, and the most direct way to keep the free edition going.

Questions
Is the daily email going behind a paywall?
No. Never. The edition you get every morning is free, stays free, and stays exactly as it is for everyone. Membership is only for the extras an email could never carry.
Do members still see ads in the daily email?
No. Any sponsor spot and our own membership reminders come out of your edition from the next morning after you join.
"Covers your household" — how does that work?
One membership, one key. We email you a members' link; share it with the person you live with and it opens everything for both of you.
I'm not very good with technology.
There's no password to remember. We email you a link; you click it; you're in. It works on the phone, the iPad and the computer, in large print, and if you're stuck you can reply to any email and a person (me) will help.
How do I cancel?
One email — reply "cancel" to any edition and it's done the same day. You keep access until the end of what you've paid for.
